Fire Commissioner #2

Commissioner Gordon Babo originally hails from Phoenix, Arizona. At a young age he became involved in the family automotive business as well as commercial property rentals and management. He also worked for county and municipal governments in the Arizona judicial system. In 1988, he moved to Washington State where he was involved in the transportation industry as an owner-operator and was owner-operator of a small resort near Mount Rainier National Park.

He retired from the marine industry in 2019, where he had worked in yacht building and service. He and his wife moved to Anderson Island in the fall of 2020, where they are enjoying the island lifestyle. He is honored to be involved with PCFD # 27 as Fire Commissioner, supporting the department and staff.
