Elizabeth Vickstein has garnered extensive professional experience in roles that directly influence the public sphere, spanning the healthcare industry, the Washington State Department of Corrections, and the fire service. Her tenure at Gig Harbor Fire Medic One ignited a profound sense of duty to support first responders. Demonstrating an ongoing commitment to enhancing her community, she currently holds the position of Administrative Assistant and Public Information Officer at Anderson Island Fire/Rescue.

Vickstein is also a published author serving on the Editorial Board of Creative Colloquy, a literary initiative focused on the South-Sound region.
