Tuesday Night Drill

District members meet at Station 27 every Tuesday from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM to train in Firefighting Strategies and Emergency Medical Services.

Marine Drill

Boat crews muster at Station 27 every 2nd and 4th Wednesday night from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM to practice marine maneuvers on District vessels.

Please note that all volunteers must pass Fire Recruit Academy.

Participation Requirements

  1. Drill & Training Attendance

    1. Volunteers should attend a minimum of 10% of all drills; or,

    2. Volunteers should attend a minimum of 20 hours of all drills and/or training annually, whichever is less.

  2. Response to Emergency Incidents

    1. Volunteers should respond to a minimum of 10% of all emergency calls at the fire station; or,

    2. Volunteers should respond to a minimum of 24 calls annually, whichever is less.

*Failure to meet attendance requirements could result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from AIFR.*
