Fire Commissioner #1

Commissioner Andy Prisco has been a full-time Anderson Island resident since 2003. He joined AIFR as a volunteer in 2011 and served our community as a Firefighter/EMT, Rope Rescue Technician, Rescue Swimmer and Training Captain until 2022. His professional experience and leadership in WA State Government (2008-2021) provides the Department and community with qualified and credible experience in matters of fiscal responsibility, risk management, compliance, oversight, and accountability. His commitments to principled leadership, managerial integrity and operational excellence can be fully expected by the community and the Department's personnel/volunteers. He currently provides training and leadership consulting to public safety, behavioral health, and justice involved sectors throughout the United States. He lives with his wife Lori and has three young adult daughters, Hannah, Chloe, and Kate.
